Manual installation for desktop Chrome 114 or later. Firefox and mobile browsers are not supported by this package.

  1. Download and extract

    Keep the Xent-Relay-Control folder somewhere permanent. Install only the customer production ZIP.

  2. Add to Chrome

    Open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked and select the extracted folder.

  3. Activate your installation

    Open Relay → License. Allow the licensing connection, enter your issued key and choose Activate this installation. No admin login is needed.

  4. Connect your messaging account

    Use Open TextNow in the extension and sign in to your own account. This build requires TextNow Web and Chrome to remain running. Start with one test message to your own number.

Updating an existing installation?

Pause and let any active send finish. Back up the installed folder, replace its contents, Reload the extension and refresh the messaging tab. Keep the same folder and extension identity to preserve your queue and activation. Review uncertain sends before resuming.

If you see “Open owner console” or version 7.6.0, your installed extension is older than this download. The customer production build has no admin button.
